The SCT Xcalibrator 2 is a handheld flash device, capable of holding up to 3 custom tunes. The Xcalibrator 2 can also read and erase DTCs (Data Trouble Code), as well as datalog parameters which can be directly viewed and stored to your laptop. LiveLink software is required to datalog with the Xcal2 which can be downloaded free from the Superchips Custom Tuning website (www.sctflash.com). The unit must be plugged into the vehicles ALDL (service) port to initially install or to change tunes. The Xcal2 works on all OBDII Ford vehicles from 1994 to 2008. The cost of the Xcal2 is $399 USD. Additional fees may apply for multiple tunes. Tunes can be made for any vehicle combination from mild to Wild. Custom tuning applications done in house will require an additional fee, please contact us for details. These units are VIN-locked to a particular vehicle once installed, so they can only be used on one vehicle at a time.
